History

At the head of Dark Elf armies ride the cold, dark heralds, those dreaded Dark Riders, the eyes and ears of the army.

They are masters of surprise attacks and sudden flight. They scour the lands in search of the enemy, ambushing supply convoys and attacking their reinforcements with lethal lightning speed.

These scouts rode black steeds, fast and sturdy mounts capable of galloping for a full day without rest. The riders wore cloaks of raven feathers, enchanted with spells of shadow to keep them hidden from the eyes of the enemy, and were thus known as the Raven Heralds.
