History

The bulk of the Elven armies are made up of regiments of spearmen and archers.

These well-trained warriors equipped with fancy weapons and armor are, in reality, the citizen soldiers of the Elven cities. Every Elf, whether a craftsman, a merchant or an artist in times of peace, is a deadly warrior in times of war.

Elven longbows are constructed by alternating layers of wood from Ulthuan's many forests and have great power and range. Each archer maintains his own weapons and takes pride and care in ensuring that his arrows are in perfect condition for war. An archer usually engraves intricate designs or runes on the shaft so that he can demonstrate after each battle how many enemies he has killed with his arrows.
