History

The leaders of High Elven archer regiments are called Hawkeye and are among the best archers in the world. In Elvish mythology, hawks are considered the fastest hunting birds that soar through the skies, so Hawkeyes wear the title with pride. Unlike other members of Ulthuan archer regiments, Hawkeyes (known as "Lethal Archers") do not seek to join lancer regiments. After proving their worth, Hawkeye services are retained indefinitely so that they can pass on their experience to new citizen soldiers. Their lethal arrows are feared by any army in the kingdom.
