History

Berserkers are a sect of warriors deservedly feared. Their members enter combat without armor to demonstrate that they are fearless. They cheer themselves into a state of incredible fury, even going so far as to bite their own shields. Their exploits fill the sagas and lurk in the histories of Imperial soldiers who have faced them.

A few berserkers have traveled to the Empire because they were exiled, or simply because they wanted to see the world. They almost never stay in the same place for long, as no vigilante wants a rabid lunatic disturbing the peace. However, berserkers are highly valued as mercenaries due to their scarcity and effectiveness in their attacks.
