History

Hydras are multi-headed reptilian monsters with powerful regeneration abilities.

The Hydra is a titanic mountain beast whose irascible and voracious nature has been the bane of many unwary victims. Extremely aggressive and tireless, they hardly sleep and are almost constantly stalking prey. The Hydra is a deadly silent hunter (which is an extremely rare trait considering its size), capable of tracking its prey across any type of terrain without ever giving up. However, and unfortunately for the Hydra, when it finally manages to get within striking distance it drops all subtlety, so prey awake enough to react at the first roar usually escape with their lives. All Hydras have a terrible temper, and live a solitary life in their subway lairs (they especially prefer dark caves and particularly fetid pits).
