History

The black ents were large, twisted, immobile but watchful trees. When roused to fury they moved swiftly shrouded in dark shadows, falling upon their enemies with lethal and merciless force.

Due to necromancy performed in the deep woods the ents became filled with black magic which in time caused some to go astray and become powerful black ents.
