History

In ancient times, very few domesticated horses existed, and riders were extremely rare. In most tribes, a mount symbolized wealth and status. It often happened that only the warlord and his most heroic warriors rode into battle. When these knights died, their horses were ritually sacrificed and buried in burial mounds to carry their owner into the afterlife.

Many centuries later, the Vampire Counts summoned the enchanted bones of these ancestral knights to gather the masses of their Undead servants under their control. Now horse and warrior are one malevolent thing that charges angrily causing terror among the enemies.
