History
These are steadfast creatures, whose posture and facial expressions demonstrate wisdom and intellect. They are creatures of ice and water, often found in cold regions, where they prefer to be self-absorbed. They are industrious beings and enjoy both literary and scholarly texts and research any bit of knowledge or curiosities they come across. These dragons are known to alter their forms to join other societies in order to learn new technologies, spells and creations. Blue dragons are peaceful but very territorial creatures. If a dragon has claimed a certain territory for itself, woe betide anyone who enters its area without its permission, and this includes dragons of its own flight.
Blue dragons are not cruel beasts, preferring to give a quick death to their enemies and prey alike. They often make use of their ranged powers and spells, camouflaging their approach in fog and other weather conditions to gain the advantage of surprise. They are excellent strategists and attempt to damage or disable any opposing spell casters before committing to physical attack. They prefer to fight from the air, casting spells and using their breath as a weapon to its fullest capacity and do not come down to earth unless it is an immediate necessity or when all opposition has been destroyed.
