Despite their superficial similarities to Dwarves, they are easily distinguishable in the most important aspects. Chaos Dwarves possess protruding fangs that give them a brutal appearance of savagery, while their skin is ashen and their eyes reddish. Many of them have horns protruding from their foreheads and some even have hooves and worse, though such mutations are rare among ordinary Chaos Dwarves and more common among wizards and those who have more direct contact with Chaos energies.
The Dwarves spread across the mountains, moving on driven by their greed to discover more secrets of rocks and metals. Over a period of many hundreds of years, they dug shafts and built settlements in the subway caverns; they drove their mines deep into the mountains, and expanded a subway realm of mighty fortified citadels connected by countless miles of mines and transport roads.
