History

The Free Riders of Stirland are a unit that was originally mobilized to fight a Chaos raid 200 years ago, and instead of dispersing or going over to the skaven side, chose to become a mercenary unit.

They have fought in numerous border conflicts between small nobles in the Empire; they have also been seen acting in the Border Kingdoms and Tilea. They possess a special dislike of foul-smelling orcs, whom they know how to apply thrusts to the heart of beasts with the daggers they carry beneath their dark winter robes.
