The Mummies come from the ancient tombs of Arabia.

The ancient inhabitants of those lands were a race of warriors and magicians, but their main preoccupation was death and necromancy. All that remains of them today are the ruins of their temples, their tombs and their dangerous Mummies.

These are protected by powerful spells that preserve them and cheat death itself, have been shielded from death by powerful magic, and reek of natron and sulfur from the embalmer's room. Because of the pestilent ointments with which their bandages were impregnated, they are very flammable, so they fear fire.
