Hour protection
Protection hours are the interval of time that has to elapse between an empire attacking a city and that city being able to be attacked again. The protection hours are different in each game, the lower the protection hours the more intense the game is and the more difficult it will be to carry out the Sieges.
The amount of hours that a city (or hero) can be protected between attacks varies between 6 Fantasy and 10 Kenaron. The amount of hours of protection is very important when selecting the game to play, choosing the strategy to follow (Pacific/Warlike) and deciding how to leave the city when you will not be able to connect to the game for a certain amount of hours. It is always convenient to know when a city is going to be "unprotected", that is to say, to know the next time it can be attacked. This is useful not only to make sure to place adequate troops for the next attack, but also to know whether or not you can dispose of the troops defending it to place them in another less defended city for a certain period of time before having to return them to their city of origin.
For example, if one of your cities is attacked in Kenaron, you know that those troops left in the city can be placed in another less defended city, as long as you remember to return them to the city of origin before the end of the protection.
This is a risky move often used by experienced players when they are in intense wars and lack troops to defend several cities.
In addition to the attacks that give the cities a certain amount of hours determined by the game, there is another way to obtain hours of protection: using Fame. With the Alert option, cities with more than 80 fame points can be put in protection for 24 hours from the moment the exchange is executed, during which time no one can attack them.
